January 3rd - We enjoyed a yummy lunch and social time, with updates on club activities.

January 10th - Our guest speaker was OPP Constable Jim Does, Crime Prevention Officer. We learned about the current cyber crimes and other scams facing people today and ways to stay protected. Thank you to the men and women of the OPP Detachment in Collingwood/Blue Mountains for working hard to keep our community safe!!

Also at our club meeting today we were thrilled to add three new Honourary Members to our Club. In the photo below, Left to right - Honourary Rotarians Bill Hugget, Gerry McGhee and Brian Hickey are joined by President Greg and Mohammed Saigar. All of these men have contributed their time, money and skills to make our community a better place to live, work and play!

January 18th - Our annual ski day and Apres Ski - Fireside meeting at the home of Honourary Rotarian George Weider. Thanks to George, Karen Willison and Mary Gibson for organizing all the details. What a fun night!

January 24th - Peter and Donna Morin from the Rotary Club of Kingston-Frontenac joined us today and shared amazing information about their international projects in Tanzania. We are excited to explore how we can work together along with the Rotary Club of Collingwood - South Georgian Bay to expand and partner with our support of Elephant Thought's schools in Tanzania.

Also at our club meeting today another Honourary Rotarian was inducted. Rotarian Wayne Noble was recognized for his long standing commitment and support to our club and Rotary International. Thanks Wayne you are a great role model!!

January 31st - Our Finnish exchange student Matilda Kylä-Harakka did a fantastic presentation about her life in Finland. We are all looking forward to meeting her parents in April.
